Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 19, 2026

AutoManuscript Software operates automanuscript.com and supports collaborative author projects, book submission pages, author account access, and related publishing workflows. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, phone number, company, title, website, social media links, author bio or profile details, quotes, written submissions, images, logos, uploaded files, sign-off confirmations, and messages you send through the site.

If you create or receive an author account, we collect account details such as username, email address, password reset activity, assigned book slots, submission status, revision history, and related administrative notes.

If you purchase an author slot through a checkout provider such as ThriveCart, payment card details are entered with that provider or its payment processors. We may receive purchase-related information such as name, email address, product purchased, order ID, checkout status, and information needed to create an account or assign a book slot.

We may also collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, referring pages, login activity, cookies, and security logs.

How We Use Information

  • To provide and manage author accounts, book slots, author forms, and submission workflows.
  • To review, edit, approve, export, format, publish, and promote book submissions.
  • To communicate about purchases, deadlines, revisions, approvals, login details, and project updates.
  • To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website and related publishing software.
  • To process purchase fulfillment through third-party checkout and payment providers.
  • To comply with legal, accounting, security, and contractual obligations.

Published Author Information

Information you submit for a book project may be prepared for publication, printing, digital distribution, marketing, or editorial review. This can include your name, image, company, title, website, social links, quote, written contribution, and other information you approve for the project. Do not submit information you do not want reviewed, edited, printed, published, or promoted as part of a book project.

Cookies And Similar Technologies

The site uses cookies and similar technologies for WordPress login sessions, account security, form operation, preferences, analytics, and general site functionality. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling cookies may prevent login or author submission features from working correctly.

How We Share Information

We may share information with site administrators, assigned Book Admins, editors, designers, publishers, production partners, and service providers who help operate the site, process purchases, send email, host files, maintain security, or produce book materials. We may also share information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or with your consent.

We do not sell personal information. We do not knowingly share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that practice changes, this policy will be updated.

Third-Party Services

The site may link to or integrate with third-party services, including ThriveCart, payment processors, hosting providers, email providers, WordPress tools, analytics tools, and embedded media providers. Those services may collect and process information under their own privacy policies.

Data Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to operate author accounts, manage book production, maintain business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, comply with legal obligations, and preserve published project records. Published book materials, production exports, and related records may be retained indefinitely unless a written project agreement says otherwise.

Your Choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we maintain about you, subject to legal, security, publishing, and recordkeeping limits. If you have an author account, some profile information may be viewable or editable after login.

Residents of certain states may have additional privacy rights, such as rights to know, access, correct, delete, or opt out of certain uses of personal information. To make a request, contact us using the email below.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No website, email system, or online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Children’s Privacy

This site is intended for adults and business professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
